WHEN IS OUTPATIENT REHAB AN OPTION? |
|
If an addicted person has never been to any strutured drug or alcohol rehabilitation program and is able to stop using drugs or alcohol for several days before using them again then they would be candidate for outpatent treatment. If a persons pattern of drug or alcohol abuse is to benge for one to three days sober up for one to three days and then benge again, this person might be a candidate for outpatient rehab services. If an addicted person has failed at any other rehab program one or more times then outpatient would not be the proper level of care and in most cases will not produce successful results.
